South Korea’s national archery team won four gold, three silver, and one bronze medal at the 31st Summer Universiade in Chengdu, China.
South Korea won three gold and two silver medals in recurve at the 31-day event.
They also won a gold, a silver, and a bronze in compound.
The first gold medal came from the women’s compound team.
The team of Cho Soo-ah (Hyundai Mobis), Han Seung-yeon (Korean National University of Arts), and Shim Soo-in (Changwon City Hall) defeated compound powerhouse India 229-224 in the final.
Recurve’s first gold medal came in the men’s team event with Min Seong-ki (Kyungmyeong University), Choi Doo-hee (Kyung Hee University), and Kim Pil-jung (Hyundai Steel).
The Recurve men’s team swept Chinese Taipei 6-0 in the final to claim the gold medal.
In the men’s individual event, Lee Min-ki defeated Japan’s Yuki Kawata 6-0 to win his second title of the tournament. 먹튀검증
In the women’s individual event, Choi Mi-sun (Gwangju Bank) won the title with a 6-2 victory over Kazakhstan’s Diana Makarchuk in the final.
