Lim Do-heon-ho will leave for Hangzhou, China, on Saturday to compete in the Hangzhou Asian Games.
“The Korean men’s volleyball team will participate in the 2022 Hangzhou Summer Asian Games, which will be held in Hangzhou, China, from July 19-26,” the Korea Volleyball Association announced on Friday.
The men’s team, led by head coach Lim Do-heon, will send a total of 12 players. Hwang Taek-ui (Armed Forces Athletic Corps) and Han Se-u (Korean Air) will lead the setters, while Park Kyung-min (Hyundai Capital) will play the libero position and Heo Soo-bong (Hyundai Capital) and Lim Dong-hyuk (Korean Air) will be responsible for the opposites.
Four players, Jeon Kwang-in (Hyundai Capital), Na Kyung-bok (Ministry of Defense), Jeong Ji-seok and Jeong Jung-yong (Korean Air), have been selected as outside hitters, while Kim Kyu-min, Kim Min-jae (Korean Air) and Kim Jun-woo (Samsung Fire) will serve as middle blockers.
Korea, which is in Group C of the men’s volleyball competition at the 19th Hangzhou Summer Asian Games, will meet India and Cambodia on the 20th.메이저놀이터
Lim Do-heon-ho will depart for Hangzhou, China, the host city of the tournament, with the national beach volleyball team via flight OZ359 from Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 at 12:25 p.m. on Saturday.
South Korea’s men’s volleyball team finished with a silver medal at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta-Palembang, where they were blocked by Iran. The Koreans will be looking for their first gold medal in 17 years since Doha 2006.
